A Legacy of Healing, Growth, and Leadership
At Triple 7 Ranch, our mission is to rehabilitate young men, ages 10-17, by teaching them transferable life skills with an agricultural focus. We aim to help these individuals overcome significant challenges, rebuild their lives, and achieve wholeness through positive treatment and compassionate rehabilitation. Our goal is to break cycles of abuse and neglect, fostering future leaders and influential community members.
Our Mission
Rehabilitate young men, ages 10-17, by teaching transferable life skills with an agricultural focus.
Our Vision
• Help young men overcome significant challenges, rebuild their lives, and achieve wholeness through positive treatment and compassionate rehabilitation.
• Break cycles of abuse and neglect to develop future leaders and influential community members.
Our Founder:
J. Christopher Anderson
J. Christopher Anderson, a native of Houston, Texas, discovered his passion for agriculture—particularly horses and cattle—at an early age. During his youth, he engaged in rodeo activities like calf roping and managed his uncle's farm. In 2008, Mr. Anderson earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia.
Following graduation, he pursued a career in education and mentorship, working within the Special Education Departments of local Houston school districts. There, he identified a need for programs that connect experienced ranchers with inner-city youth. His commitment to assisting at-risk youth is evident in his efforts to bridge the gap between students and educators. Mr. Anderson's early interest in agriculture has provided him with extensive knowledge in the field. He is an active member of several organizations, including:
- 100 Ranchers (a minority-based cattlemen's committee)
- Texas Cattlemen Association
- Young Farmers of Texas
- Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (Livestock Committee)
His personal legacy is encapsulated in the motto:
"Building Great Men Through High Expectations."
